How does face swap work?

Upload one source face and one target image. The model replaces the target face with the source while keeping pose, perspective and background.

What images work best?

Well-lit, frontal or near-frontal faces with clear details. Avoid extreme angles, occlusions, heavy motion blur or very low resolution.

Will expressions and lighting be preserved?

Yes. We aim to preserve target pose and expression, and harmonize lighting and skin tones for natural blending without halos.

What is the output?

Photorealistic JPG/PNG. Resolution follows the target image as much as possible.

How many outputs and credits are used?

Seedream typically supports 1–3 outputs per run; credits are charged per output. See Pricing for current rules.

Any tips for better results?

Use matching angles between source and target, similar age/gender when possible, and avoid strong sunglasses/masks that hide facial landmarks.
